ValvTechnologies and MetalTek Energy Products Supplying Krško Plant

ValvTechnologies, Inc. in partnership with MetalTek Energy Products, have supplied Slovenian based, Nuklearna elektrarna Krško, d.o.o with valves and strainers in support of their Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) upgrade project.

The equipment will play a critical role in the success of the upgrade of the plant’s emergency backup power system. This is similar to the system that failed at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi Plant during the March 2011 nuclear accident resulting from the earthquake and tsunami that rendered the plant in total blackout.
