Emerson to Automate One of China’s Largest Waste-to-Energy Facilities

Emerson Process Management has received a contract from the Shanghai Laogang Refuse Incineration Co. to automate what will be one of the largest waste-to-energy facilities in China. With a capacity of 3,000 tons of municipal solid waste per day, the facility will provide a more desirable alternative to landfilling waste generated by the area’s burgeoning population and economy.
