ValvTechnologies Signs Mutual Agreement with KISC; Hosts Chinese Delegation from the Yunnan Province

ValvTechnologies was honored to host Governor Qin Guangrong
and his delegation from the Yunnan Province of the People’s Republic of China
at the ValvTechnologies worldwide headquarters in Houston, TX on Sunday, July
17, 2011. The Governor visited the
ValvTechnologies facility to witness the signing of a mutual agreement contract
between Kunming Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd (KISC), based in the Yunnan
Province. During their time at
ValvTechnologies, the Delegation toured the manufacturing facilities where all
of the company’s valves are fabricated and tested. ValvTechnologies also hosted a luncheon in
the Governor’s honor.
Earlier in the week, ValvTechnologies Owner and President,
Kevin Hunt, met with the Chairman of KISC where the Chairman signed a purchase
order for ValvTechnologies valves to be used in the Yunnan Province. The valves purchased will be used in slurry
lines in KISC’s mining operations. On
Sunday, the pair signed a contract of mutual agreement where ValvTechnologies
agreed to purchase an intelligent software system to monitor the valves put in
place.
KISC is an enterprise group engaged in iron and steel metallurgy,
mechanical manufacture, construction and installation, real estate development,
refractory, building materials, transportation, import and export, project
engineering, electronic information technology, environmental protection etc.
It ranks 82nd among the top 500 enterprises in China.
