Rotork Acquires Valco Valves and Automation AS

Rotork has acquired Valco
Valves and Automation AS (VVA), its Norwegian sales and service agent, from
Valco Group AS.
The gross assets acquired are worth approximately £2m, with
a net cash outflow of £600,000.
Peter France, the Rotork Group's chief executive, said:
"The acquisition of VVA strengthens our presence in the important
Norwegian market. Our strategy is to provide our customers with local support
and this acquisition continues our international expansion plan." More...
