Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the fifth biennial Valve Repair Meeting and Exhibition that will take place June 1-2, 2023, at the Houston Area Safety Council in Pasadena, Texas. This conference is designed specifically for professionals in the valve repair and rebuild industry who will receive a day and a half of educational sessions, have the opportunity for a half day of touring a valve repair facility and get a chance to visit with vendors during the tabletop exhibition. Some of the topics that will be covered at this event include:

  • API RP 578 Third Edition New Technologies
  • Chlor/Alky Valve Presentation
  • Repair and Fugitive Emissions
  • Pipeline Valve Repair
  • Welding Presentation

A popular feature of this meeting is a tour of a local repair shop. Attendees of this event will go to the Setpoint IS facility in Deer Park. The tour will focus on safety solutions that reduce employee exposure as well as various advanced manufacturing solutions.

Registration for the meeting is open to both VMA/VRC members and industry non-member companies with multiple attendees receiving a price discount for added individuals.

The exhibit portion of the program will take place on June 1 and a luncheon and evening reception are currently planned to take place when the exhibition is open. These tabletop exhibits feature an array of products and services that professionals in the repair and rebuild industries depend on to do their jobs.

Meeting registration and exhibitor information will be available on the VMA website in January. For more information on the meeting program, please contact Marc Pasternak at mpasternak@vma.org.
