This valve materials presentation will focus on two, more advanced materials topics. The first will be a deeper discussion of materials for specific applications, such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S, sour gas), hydrofluoric acid (HF) and hydrogen service. The second part will be an overview of non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques for metallic valve materials. The NDE segment will also detail several valve material failures.
