Velan Inc. Reports its Third Quarter 2010/11 Financial Results

After weak results in the first two quarters, Velan
reported improved financial results for the three months ended November 30,
2010. Sales for the quarter were $108.0 million, down 2.9% from last year's
strong sales. The net earnings for the three months were $5.8 million, or $0.26
per share. For the nine months ended November 30, 2010, sales were $281.3
million and net earnings were $6.0 million, or $0.27 per share. More…
