Mueller Water Products Reports Fiscal Third Quarter 2010 Results

Mueller Water Products, Inc. reported net
sales of $375.9 million and a net loss of $3.8 million for the quarter ended
June 30, 2010.
Net sales for the 2010 third quarter were
$375.9 million, up 3.5 percent from $363.2 million for the 2009 third quarter.
Excluding the 2009 net sales of two divested Anvil businesses, net sales for
the 2010 third quarter increased 13.1 percent year-over-year.
Income from operations for the 2010 third
quarter was $12.5 million compared to a loss from operations of $8.5 million
for the 2009 third quarter. Adjusted income from operations for the 2010 third
quarter was $13.4 million compared to an adjusted loss from operations of $4.6
