Swantech, a Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company, Signs Deal with Invenergy

Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Co. business unit Swantech has signed a five-year agreement with Invenergy LLC to monitor and analyze the health of wind turbine generators owned and operated by Invenergy.

Initial monitoring includes three sites located in the central U.S. and encompasses multiple units at each site. Swantech utilizes stress wave energy to detect signs of the development cracks, pitting, spalling, surface wear and lubrication degradation. More…
