Emerson Announces Investment to Expand Presence in Brazil

Emerson announced an investment of $35 million to
expand its manufacturing plant and operations facility in Sorocaba, state of
Sao Paulo, Brazil. Located about 95 kilometers west of the city of Sao Paulo,
Emerson’s campus in Sorocaba will become the company’s headquarters in Brazil.
Emerson is also constructing a new 45,000-square-meter facility for its
manufacturing and office needs.
In Sorocaba, Emerson Process Management currently
manufactures magnetic flow meters, control valves and pressure regulators,
pressure transmitters and control systems used to improve operating efficiency
within process manufacturing plants, such as refineries. Emerson’s Sorocaba
facility also provides asset management services, systems integration, custody
transfer and natural gas regulator skids, and flow lab instrument calibration. More…
