Flowserve Booked Multi-Million Dollar Valve Order from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power

Flowserve
Corp. announced it booked, in the second quarter of 2009, a multi-million dollar
order from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd (KHNP) for main steam and
main feedwater isolation valves.
The valves
will be used at KHNP’s Shin-Kori 3 and 4 nuclear plant’s Pressurized Water
Reactors, which are currently under construction and scheduled for commercial
operation in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Shin-Kori 3 and 4 represent the first
two reactors built to KHNP’s new APR-1400 reactor design.
