Xomox Sanmar Limited Inaugurates Pacific Valves Division

Xomox Sanmar
Limited, a joint venture of Sanmar Engineering Corp. (SEC) and Crane Co., inaugurated
their power plant valve manufacturing facility in Viralimali (near
Trichirapalli), India, on Monday. Sanmar Engineering Corporation and Crane Co.
extended their existing 25 year old joint venture Xomox Sanmar Limited
(investment 51% Sanmar Engineering and 49% Crane Co.) in 2008 to include the
manufacture of Crane Energy’s Pacific brand of high pressure gate, globe and
check valves.
A 30,000
sq.ft. plant has been commissioned in Viralimalai, near Trichy, Tamil Nadu,
India. This plant manufacturers both manual and motorized high pressure gate
and globe valves, non return check valves for India’s power sector and process
industries, along with being a part of the global manufacturing network for Crane
