EnPro Names Garlock Sealing Technologies’ George Whittier Division President

EnPro
Industries, Inc. announced today that George Whittier has been named division
president, Fairbanks Morse Engine and has assumed responsibilities for the
day-to-day operations of the business from Tony Gioffredi. Whittier will report
directly to Gioffredi, who is named president of EnPro's Engine Products and
Services segment, and will continue as division president, Compressor Products
International.
Whittier was
previously a vice president and general manager at Garlock Sealing
Technologies. Most recently, he was responsible for the operations of Garlock
Klozure, which manufactures oil seals, mechanical seals and bearing isolators
for use in a variety of industrial applications. Before joining Klozure in
2007, he was responsible for the operations of Garlock Helicoflex, which
manufactures highly-engineered sealing products for the nuclear power industry
and other specialized applications. More…
