Massacusetts Tyco Valve Business Moves to New Facility

After voters in Massachusetts approved a tax-increment financing package last November, Crosby Valve and Control is moving to a new 118,000 square foot building in Mansfield. Crosby, which was purchased by Tyco in 1998, will spend $20 million in renovations to the facility located at 55 Cabot Boulevard.

Dave Thibault, director of Tyco's Americas nuclear business, told the Sun Chronicle, "We look forward to becoming long-term members of the Mansfield community and to building a long-term partnership with the town."

Crosby Valves, which had been in its Wrentham, MA location since 1948, “makes products for nuclear power generation and the Navy. There would be no nuclear material present at the facility.” More…
