Velan Inc. announced its
financial results for its second quarter ended August 31, 2012. Net earnings amounted
to $3.3 million or $0.15 per share compared to a net loss of $2.1 million or
$0.10 per share last year. Excluding currency impacts, Velan would have
reported net earnings of $3.5 million or $0.16 per share this year compared to
a net loss of $2.0 million or $0.09 per share last year. More...
