VALVE REPAIR Seminar WITH EXHIBITs

The health and safety of event participants is our utmost priority, as well as our ability to provide a event that meets expectations. In consultation with CDC guidelines, local officials, the Valve Repair Council has decided to cancel the Valve Repair Seminar with Exhibits that was scheduled to be held on June 3-4, 2020 in Pasadena, TX. We expect to make a decision on when the meeting will be rescheduled (likely for next year) within the next few months. About VRC
The Valve Repair Council (VRC) is dedicated to providing value to its membership, not only by creating networking opportunities with valve manufacturers, but also by creating opportunities for members to participate in events that will help them to develop their own service capabilities and differentiate them in a market full of competitors.
ABOUt the Program
The VRC’s Valve Repair Seminar & Exhibits, focuses on some of the issues specific to repairing valve assemblies and keeping them operating at peak efficiency, as well as addressing high-level concerns about what is happening in the industry, what pressures it faces and where it is headed..

This seminar is open to both VMA/VRC members and non-members and is designed for anyone working in, or selling to, the valve repair/rebuild industry. Front-line supervisors and end-users are invited to attend.

Travel Information
The Houston Area Safety Council where the 2020 Valve Repair Seminar is being held, is located at 5213 Center St, Pasadena, TX 77505. HASC has a parking facility with abundant free parking. Transportation to and from the event is not provided from the Fairfield.
The Fairfield Inn is located at 3640 East Sam Houston Parkway South Pasadena, TX 77505 and is 11 miles from the Houston Hobby Airport and 32 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Cancellation Policy
- Should you need to cancel due to other unforeseen circumstances, VMA will refund your registration fee 100% up to five business days before the Valve Repair Forum.
- Substitutions are always welcome up to and including the first day of the event.
Registration Policies
- VMA/VRC does not accept responsibility for any “no-shows.” Regardless of their attendance, these individuals will be charged for the cost of their registration.
- Registration and attendance at, or participation in, VMA/VRC meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to VMA/VRC’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
- All participants in any VMA/VRC meetings/events must adhere to the VMA anti-trust guidelines.
- VMA/VRC events are not open to members of the general public. Only industry individuals/professionals are permitted to attend, based on their membership status.
- All participants agree to wear their badge at all times during the event and may not “share” their badges with other attendees.
- Actions, words, jokes, or comments based on any individual’s sex, race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected characteristic will not be tolerated.
- VMA/VRC attendees are not permitted to carry weapons of any kind, including concealed or displayed firearms, onto the premises of any VMA/VRC event. Each attendee agrees to comply with this policy, regardless of whether signs prohibiting weapons are posted at the premises of any official VMA/VRC event.
- VMA/VRC will verify all registrations to confirm compliance with defined registration types and categories. If it is determined that a registrant has not selected the appropriate registration type, an VMA/VRC representative will follow up to confirm the correct registration category and rate. Any balance due will then be billed directly to the registrant and must be paid within 30 days, or prior to the start of the event, whichever comes first.
- VMA/VRC reserves the right to require event participants who violate VMA/VRC event policies to immediately leave the event.
