sources that will provide this growth is less clear. This session walks through these complexities.

This session will explore the business climate in India including the political, environmental and business environment of India, and impacts of current topics such as energy, supply chain, PFAS, and net zero efforts – all through the lens of the industrial valve industry. Global companies with business in India, companies who may be starting businesses or creating partnerships in India, and those that are solely North American focused will all glean insights and take-aways from the session.

The Annual Business Meetings of both VMA and VRC review the successes and challenges of the past year for the Association and industry, and look forward by detailing upcoming plans, initiatives and member services. The slate of nominations for your Board of Directors is also proposed for a vote. The VRC Business Meeting will take place on Thursday morning, October 3, 2024, and the VMA Business Meeting will take place on Friday morning, October 4, 2024.

Please note that courses in the Park City area are NOT able to accommodate a VMA Golf Tournament this year. However, VMA has reserved some tee times for those that are still interested in golfing. Golf will take place at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course, and tee times are available from approximately 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Transportation to the golf course, lunch, drinks and snacks, will be individual golfers responsibility. While there will not be a shotgun style golf tournament this year, foursomes can submit their score card for entrance into our traditional 1st - 3rd place awards given at the Gala Awards Ceremony, Friday, October 4. An excellent opportunity for first timers or experienced anglers. Local rivers hold healthy population of Brown trout along with the occasional Rainbow and Cutthroat. You’ll spend four hours on the river in a group of 3, and 1 guide. Separate registration fee required.
Take a hike through Deer Valley right outside the St. Regis’ doors. Enjoy the fall weather and foliage during a 2 hour tramp with an experienced guide to point out the sites. This route takes you up the slopes typically covered in skiers, and will experience elevation gain on dirt path trails. Separate registration fee required.
Enjoy shooting clay pigeons at a rustic trap shooting range. There are two motorized traps, one standard and one wobble allowing for amateur or advanced shooters to customize their experience. For those looking for even more of a challenge, there is also a five stand. Separate registration fee required.
No visit to Park City is complete without a sightseeing tour of the 2002 Olympic Park. A tour guide will take the group up and down the mountain with stops at different sporting tracks along the way. Hear fun tales and trivia about the facility, tracks, year round training, and of course the athletes, as you experience the heights from which our Olympians fly. Separate registration fee required.
