Valve Basics is your gateway into the world of valves and actuators. Split into two programs, Valve Basics provides an overview of valves, valve actuators and valve automation, and how they are used in various applications.

Valve Basics is for valve industry professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge: end users, specifiers, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and even engineering students via scholarship.
Attendees who complete 1.5 days of either the 101 or 201 courses will receive a total of 9 PDHs (Professional Development Hours).
Attendees who complete both courses, over 3 days, will receive a total of 18 PDHs.
Certificates of Completion will be given out at the end of the programs on Wednesday and Thursday.
Attendees leaving before the end of the course will not receive full credit and certificates will be mailed out from the VMA office reflecting the reduced credits earned.
