VALVE BASICS EDUCATION: WE HAVE OPTIONS!

In 2009 the Valve Manufacturers Association developed "Valve Ed,” a valve, actuator and control training program tailored to the educational needs of the next generation—or anyone who needs a primer on the valve industry. More than a decade later, thousands of people across the industries that make and use valves have taken our Basics courses!

We have several options available for training:

  • Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibits. Held once a year, and featuring two 1.5-day sessions: the first on Industrial Valves and the second on Actuators, Controls & Control Systems, as well as our popular "Valve Petting Zoo," a hands-on experience.
  • Valve Basics Custom Training. For companies with 25 or more people needing basic education. For this program, VMA will come to your facility or teach the program at a nearby venue.
  • Valve Basics Online Training. A narrated presentation covering the basic valve and actuator types. Licenses are sold to individuals as well as group licenses, which provide significant savings.
  • COMING JUNE 2020! Webinars & Virtual Events. The world is changing and our ways of receiving education and training are changing along with it. Look for VMA to offer a variety of virtual education programs, from Webinars and Virtual Events, to Podcasts and Videos.

We also offer several additional products, which are available for sale in The VMA Store.
