2018 Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibits EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION

Nearly 2,000 people have taken one of VMA's highly rated Valve Basics courses since the program was introduced in 2009. Valves, Actuators & Controls features 15 individual lessons along with a hands-on learning experience that focuses on products covered in the classroom portion of the program. In addition, a tabletop exhibition is held early in the evening of the first day, providing attendees with additional opportunities to ask questions and learn more.

GREETINGS EXHIBITOR!
The Valve Manufacturers Association invites you to participate in our 2018 Valve Basics & Exhibits. The exhibits portion of this seminar takes place on Tuesday, October 30 ONLY from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and is open to tabletop displays.
To provide more space for an expanded hands-on experience, we are holding our event at the Houston Area Safety Council in Pasadena, TX. The council has a state-of-the-art training facility and abundant workshop space where products for the "Valve Petting Zoo" can be displayed.

WHO ARE THE ATTENDEES?
The event is attended by a diverse group of individuals in the industries that use and make valves, actuators and controls; distributors, EPC's; young engineers, and people who are new to a job that involves working with valves and actuators; end-users from different industries; people charged with specifying, purchasing, maintaining, selling, and marketing, as well as, those who are looking for a refresher course, as well as, students working on engineering degrees.

 

EXPECTED NUMBER OF ATTENDEES

We expect attendance in the range of 60 to 80.

WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT?

Our exhibitor group is also diverse. It's a combination of those who distribute  and supply a variety of products and services  to valve, actuator and control manufacturer, as well as, the manufacturers of these products. In addition, OEM valve service and repair companies also exhibit.  In the past, exhibitors have displayed a wide variety of products and services to include:

  • Valves and Accessories
  • Actuators and Controls
  • Castings and Forgings
  • Seals, Gaskets and Packing
  • Belleville Springs
  • Coatings
  • Fasteners and Hardware
  • Valve Service and Repair

QUALIFICATIONS FOR EXHIBITING

 

All Valve Manufacturers Association and Valve Repair Council members are eligible to exhibit, as well as:

  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture valves, actuators and controls
  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture products or provide services for these manufacturers
  • OEM-certified valve repair and maintenance facilities located in the U.S. or Canada
  • Distributors/channel partners are eligible to exhibit as long as they only display flow control products made by VMA members or U.S. and Canadian manufacturers who would quality for VMA membership.

 

Exhibitors who are currently not VMA members, but meet the criteria for membership, may exhibit at up to two VMA tabletop exhibit events. After two events, non-member companies will not be permitted to exhibit unless they apply for, and are accepted, as a VMA member.

 

EXHIBIT REGISTRATION  - EARLY BIRD AVAILABLE THROUGH SEPTEMBER 7TH

VMA/VRC Members Early Bird $435/$495 thereafter

Non-Members - Early Bird $485/$545 thereafter

WHAT DOES MY EXHIBIT FEE INCLUDE?

Exhibit registration includes one 6-foot draped table, attendee list and two complimentary exhibit personnel. Your exhibit registration does not include the Valve Basics seminar.  

 

ADDITIONAL EXHIBIT PERSONNEL

Additional exhibit personnel (above the two included with registration) can be registered for $75.

 

ELECTRICITY/INTERNET
Electricity and internet costs for exhibitors are included in your registration fee.


SEMINAR ATTENDANCE TICKETS
Exhibitor registration does not include admittance into the Valve Basics Seminar. If any exhibitor personnel wish to attend the seminar, please purchase a seminar ticket at time of registration.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days before the event are refundable, minus a 5% registration service charge.
  • Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable.
  • Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0 and 14 days prior to the event the day are non-refundable.
  • All cancellations must be in writing and sent via email to Malena Malone-Blevins. Substitutions can be accepted up to day of event.
