About the Program

The program committee for the 2015 VMA Leadership Forum had their initial conference call and established program topics for the Forum scheduled for March 19-20, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans. Members of the program committee are Mark Cordell, Cameron; Pat Dunn, Metso USA, Inc.; Jim Gray, GE; David Hughes, Pentair; Mark Nahorski, PBM and Louis Pinkham, Crane.


Among the topics to be included are terms and conditions, state of the economy, political perspective, customer intelligence through social media, industry segment outlooks, EPC view of the industry and skills. Networking opportunities will also be scheduled.

Who Should Attend?

Attendance is open to senior executives responsible for managing a VMA or VRC member company and/or division of such company. We encourage our industry leaders to bring with them their management teams and emerging leaders. There will also be time devoted to networking with your peers.

Registration TYPES AND Fees

Registration for the Leadership Forum is limited to VMA/VRC Members only and is $625 for the first registration and $525 for any additional registrations from the same dues paying company. You must sign in to register. The Spouse/Guest fee is $295 per person. Attendee registration fees includes the day-and-a-half seminar, and all food functions including breakfasts, breaks, lunch and the hosted reception and dinner. Spouse/Guest registration includes hosted reception and dinner, breakfast presentation and spouse/guest program participation. Spouse/Guest registration must accompany a full registrant or additional registrant attendee registration fee.

Registering Additional Attendees


If someone from your company is registered for the Leadership Forum who has paid the full registration fee, you can register additional attendees for a reduced registration price of $525. Choose the "SAVE AND ADD ADDITIONAL ATTENDEE" option at the bottom of the registration page. There is no limit to the additional attendees that can be registered. Discounted additional attendee registration fee includes the day and a half seminar, and all food functions including continental breakfasts, breaks, lunch and the hosted reception and dinner.

The Spouse/Guest fee of $295 and includes hosted reception and dinner, and spouse/guest program participation on March 19th and the breakfast presentation March 20.

Hotel Reservations


Accommodations for the 2015 VMA Leadership Forum have been arranged at a discounted rate of $234 per night at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans and is NOT part of your registration. Please make reservations using the directions below:  At this point, due to demand, rooms are extremely limited.  You may be able to get a room at a higher rate over the dates you need, but our block of rooms at $234 is 98% sold out.

If you cannot get a room at the Ritz Carlton either because the rooms or the discounted rate is not available for your stay, we are recommending the hotels below as an alternative for attendee to make reservations. The Courtyard Iberville, and The Saint are connected to the Ritz Carlton New Orleans and are offering rates within $10 of the VMA discounted rate at the Ritz Carlton.  NOTE: VMA does not have a special block.  The rates they are offering are their “rack” rates.

Registration Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days before the event are refundable, minus a 5% registration service charge.
  • Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable. Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0 and 14 days prior to the event day are non-refundable.
  • All cancellations must be in writing to Substitutions can be accepted until March 13th.
