About the Program

The program committee for the 2014 VMA Leadership Forum had their initial conference call and established the theme and program topics for the Forum scheduled for Jan. 16-17, 2014 at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta. Members of the program committee are: Jeff Bricker, Bernard Controls; Dan Button, Emerson Process Management, Valve Automation and Mark Nahorski, PBM, Inc.

The theme of the Forum is "A Day in the Life of a Leader.” Among the topics to be included are organization, market trends, technology, finances, political forces, legal, and risk management. There also will be a program for attending spouses/guests.

Who Should Attend?

Attendance is open to senior executives responsible for managing a VMA or VRC member company and/or a valve, actuator, or control division of such company. We encourage our industry leadership to bring with them their management teams and emerging leaders. Networking is always high on the list of all attendees, and we have once again set aside a portion of time for just that.

Registration Fees

Registration is limited to VMA/VRC Members only and is $625.00 for the first registration and $525.00 for any additional registrations from the same dues paying member. The Spouse/Guest fee is $295.00 for each person. The Spouse/Guest registration fee includes continental breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks, and hosted reception and dinner. There is also a spouse/guest activity on Jan. 16 that is included in the registration fee.

Hotel Reservations

he VMA room block is now open. All accommodations are deluxe rooms and consist of one king bed or two double beds. Please specify when making reservations. The Leadership Forum Conference rate is $169.00. Rate is extended three days prior and three day post event. To make reservations, CLICK HERE.

You can also call the hotel at 800-241-3333 to speak to a reservations agent. The hotel cut-off date is Jan. 1, 2014.

Registration Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days before the event are refundable, minus a 5% registration service charge.

  • Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable.

  • Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0 and 14 days prior to the event the day are non-refundable. This amount may be used toward a future meeting within 12 months.
