Weir Group Raises FY Profit View

- Pump manufacturer Weir Group Plc raised its full-year profit outlook and said
it continued to perform well in the final quarter, helped by cost cuts and
foreign exchange gains.
The
group, which makes pumps and valves for the mining, oil and gas and power
generation sectors, now expects adjusted profit from continuing operations for
the 53 weeks ended January 1 to increase to about 185 million pounds. More…
