Garlock 212-ULE Selected for ISD Green Product Award

Garlock Sealing Technologies received the International Sealing Distribution Association's Eco-Award for Industrial Certification at the association's recent Sealing Summit in San Antonio, Texas.

The first-time award is part of the ISD's "Go for the Green" program that presents best-in-class awards to exhibitors that displayed a product, service or initiative designed to reduce waste, promote recycling, minimize carbon footprints or demonstrate good stewardship.

Garlock received the award for its 212-ULE ultra-low-emission valve stem packing, designed to simplify leak detection and repair and maintain emissions below 100 ppm in the hydrocarbon and chemical processing industries. In addition, it is packaged in a 100% recyclable dispenser for reduced environmental impact.
