2017 Technical Seminar & Exhibits - EXHIBITOR  REGISTRATION

The Valve Manufacturers Association invites you to participate in our 2017 Technical Seminar & Exhibits on March 2nd. This is a table top exhibition only. Your registration fee includes your table, sign, attendee list and two representatives from your company. Companies that sell or provide service to valve manufacturers and end users should exhibit. Exhibit registration fees are $495 for VMA/VRC members and $550 for non-members. Fees do not include admittance to the seminar or the tour.

GREETINGS EXHIBITOR!

 The Valve Manufacturers Association invites you to participate in our 2017 Technical Seminar and Exhibits.  The exhibit portion of this seminar takes place on March 2nd and is open to table top displays.  We know that attendee traffic is important to you, so we’ve scheduled the attendees’ lunch, afternoon breaks and the Welcome Reception in the exhibit area to guarantee maximum exposure for your company.

 

WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT?

Companies that sell or provide services to valve manufacturers and end-users. This exhibit program is open to VMA/VRC members as well as non-member companies.

 

WHO IS ATTENDING?

Mid-to-senior level management, engineering and technical personnel in valve manufacturing companies, suppliers to the industry, distributors, valve repair facilities and end-users. This meeting is open to members of VMA/VRC as well as non-members.

QUALIFICATIONS TO EXHIBIT

Valve Manufacturers Association and Valve Repair Council members are eligible to exhibit, and must be:

  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture valves, actuators and controls
  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture products or provide services for these manufacturers
  • OEM-certified valve repair and maintenance facilities located in the U.S. or Canada
  • Distributors/channel partners as long as they only display products that are manufactured in the U.S. or Canada

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Exhibit registration fees are $495 for VMA/VRC members and $550 for non-members.  You must sign in to your member account to receive the discounted rate.   All exhibits are table tops.  Your exhibit fee includes registration for two exhibit attendees  from your company, as well as your table, a sign, seminar attendees list, lunch, afternoon break and Welcome Reception. Your exhibit registration does not include entrance to the Technical Seminar March 2-3  or the Corvette Assembly Plant and Museum Tour March 1st.

REGISTERING ADDITIONAL ATTENDEES 

One additional exhibit attendee can be registered complimentary as part of your exhibit fee.  If you find you need additional exhibit attendees over the two that are included in the exhibit registration, please purchase the "Add'l Exhibit Attendee" ticket for $85.   Someone from your company  must have paid the full exhibit registration fee for this attendee registration type to be used. Additional exhibit personnel registration does not include attendance to the Technical Seminar March 2-3  or the Corvette Assembly Plant and Museum Tour March 1st.  A ticket to attend the seminar and/or the tour can be purchased separately for each additional registrant.

 

SEMINAR ATTENDANCE TICKETS

 Seminar admittance is not included in your exhibit registration. If any exhibit attendee wants to attend the seminar, please purchase a “Seminar Attendance” ticket at time of registration. As an exhibitor, you would receive the Early Bird Discount of $495 for a seminar ticket purchased before January 27th After that date, the cost would be $545.

 

Starting in 2017, all attendees to the seminar will receive a certificate for 12 PDH (Professional Development Hours) for attending the Technical Seminar. Certificates will be given to attendees at the conclusion on the seminar on March 3rd.


 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Sponsorship opportunities  are now available to exhibitors for purchase online when you register! For more detailed information, see the Exhibitor Prospectus pg. 5. Sponsorships are available until February 17th.

 

CORVETTE ASSEMBLY PLANT AND MUSEUM TOUR - MARCH 1ST

VMA has secured a private tour for attendees of the 2017 Technical Seminar. However, because of logistical concerns and transportation considerations, tour participation is limited to the first fifty (50) participants. Watch the fascinating assembly process of America's favorite sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette.  Witness an engineering marvel as the chassis and body come together in "marriage" and brand new Corvettes roll off the assembly line.  Once the tour is complete, attendees will then get back on the bus for a short drive to the Corvette Museum where we will have lunch.

 

If you wish to attend the Corvette Assembly Plant and Museum tour, please purchase a ticket when you register.

 

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Unfortunately, the block of rooms VMA arranged for the Technical Seminar at discounted rate of $259 at the Hilton Nashville Downtown is sold out. However, there are many choices for hotels in the Nashville area. For a map showing additional hotel choice both in downtown Nashville and closer to Vanderbilt University CLICK HERE. VMA does not have any pre-arranged rates at any other hotels

 

EXHIBIT REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days in before the event are refundable minus a 5% registration service charge
  • Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable.
  • Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0-14 days before the event are non-refundable.
  • Substitutions are allowed but must be given to Malena Malone-Blevins, Meetings Manager, in writing.  Please send all substitutions to mmaloneblevins@vma.org by February 24th.
