The 2018 Valve Industry Knowledge Forum, Exhibits program will be held April 12 in Savannah GA and is open to VMA/VRC members and industry non-members who wish to exhibit. Exhibit registration includes two people from your company, sign, attendee list, table and participation in food events. Companies that sell or provide service to valve manufacturers and end users should exhibit. This is a table top exhibition. Early Bird rate available to exhibitors through Feb 23.

 The Valve Manufacturers Association invites you to participate in our 2018 Valve Industry Knowledge Forum. The exhibit portion of the forum takes place on April 12 and is open to table top displays.  We know that attendee traffic is important to you, so we’ve scheduled the attendees’ lunch, afternoon breaks and the Welcome Reception in the exhibit area to guarantee maximum exposure for your company.



Savannah has long been known for it's history as a charming Southern city where art, period architecture, trendy boutiques and ghost stories are all set under a veil of Spanish moss. Consistently named one of the “world’s friendliest cities” by Condé Nast Traveler this coastal town has a world-class reputation for hospitality and grace and makes the perfect backdrop for this year's Knowledge Forum. 



Companies that sell or provide services to valve manufacturers and end-users. This exhibit program is open to VMA/VRC members as well as industry non-member companies.



Mid-to-senior level management, engineering and technical personnel in valve manufacturing companies, suppliers to the industry, consulting firm personnel, valve repair facilities and end-users, and human resource professionals. This meeting is open to members of VMA/VRC as well as industry non-member companies. 


This  two day meeting features three distinctive educational tracks, Technical, Manufacturing and Human Resources. A joint event means more meaningful dialogue between different segments of our industry, an expansion of the attendee base, and the ability for individuals to learn about various areas of the valve business.

  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture
  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture products or provide services for these manufacturers
  • OEM-certified valve repair and maintenance facilities located in the U.S. or Canada
  • Distributors/channel partners are eligible to exhibit,  as long as they only displaying at least one product line from a VMA member and only display products that are manufactured in the U.S. or Canada
  • Non-Member companies can only exhibit at two programs as a non-member. After two programs, membership in VMA will be requested for future exhibit opportunities.


Early bird exhibit fees for VMA/VRC members will be $445 through February 28, and $495 thereafter.  Non-member Early Bird exhibit fees will be $495 through February 28 and $545 thereafter. All exhibits are table tops.  Your exhibit fee includes registration for TWO exhibit attendees  from your company, as well as your table, a sign, seminar attendees list, lunch, afternoon break and Welcome Reception.



One additional exhibit attendee can be registered complimentary as part of your exhibit fee.  If you find you need additional exhibit attendees over the two that are included in the exhibit registration, please purchase the "Add'l Exhibit Attendee" ticket for $95.   Someone from your company  must have paid the full exhibit registration fee for this attendee registration type to be used.



 Forum admittance is not included in your exhibit registration. If any exhibit attendee wants to attend the forum, please purchase a “Forum Attendance” ticket at time of registration. Member price $545, Non-Member $595. 


Starting in 2018, all attendees to the Knowledge Forum will receive a certificate for 12 PDH (Professional Development Hours). Certificates will be given to attendees at the conclusion on the seminar on April 13.

VMA has organized two tours in conjunction with the Valve Industry Knowledge Forum. Both tours are open to all attendees and exhibitors and include transportation and lunch.Your exhibit registration fee does not include these tours.  A separate ticket must be purchased.  Tours will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.


GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE. Participants will visit Gulfstream’s headquarters and tour the Gulfstream G650 manufacturing facility. Gulfstream’s Research and Development campus in Savannah is a shared base for more than 1,500 employees who develop and test next-generation aviation concepts.


MITSUBISHI HITACHI POWER SYSTEMS/SAVANNAH MACHINERY WORKS. Attendees will explore Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems/Savannah Machinery Works, where the world’s most advanced gas turbines are manufactured. During this tour of over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space, participants will see component manufacturing of combustion systems, advance machining of gas turbine rotors, high speed balance and testing, and final assembly of gas turbines.


Please purchase a ticket for the appropriate tour when registering. Ticket cost is $75



Accommodations for the Valve Industry Knowledge Forum have been arranged with The DeSoto Hotel, 15 East Liberty Street, Savannah, GA. The discounted rate is $189 per night and is available April 10-13, 2018. The last day to make reservations at this special rate is March 19, 2018.

·        Cancellations received up to 30 days in before the event are refundable minus a 5% registration service charge

·        Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable.

·        Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0-14 days before the event are non-refundable.

·        Substitutions are allowed but must be given to Malena Malone-Blevins, by April 7
