2017 Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibits (HASC) EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION

Nearly 2,000 people have taken one of VMA's highly rated Valve Basics courses since the program was introduced in 2009. Valves, Actuators & Controls 101 features 15 individual lessons along with a hands-on learning experience that focuses on products covered in the classroom portion of the program. In addition, a tabletop exhibition is held early in the evening of the first day, providing attendees with additional opportunities to ask questions and learn more.

GREETINGS EXHIBITOR!
The Valve Manufacturers Association invites you to participate in our 2017 Valve Basics & Exhibits. The exhibits portion of this seminar takes place on Tuesday, October 3 ONLY from 4:30 to 7:30 pm and is open to tabletop displays.
To provide more space for an expanded hands-on experience, we are holding our next event at the Houston Area Safety Council in Pasadena, TX. The council has a state-of-the-art training facility and abundant workshop space where products for the "Valve Petting Zoo" can be displayed.

WHO ARE THE ATTENDEES?
Primarily entry-level personnel such as recent graduates and other newcomers to the industry, as well as more experienced personnel seeking a refresher or overview of the valves, actuators, controls and related products. Attendees come from all facets of the industry and include end-users and EPC/AEC personnel who specify, purchase and maintain valves and related products as well as manufacturers, distributors, and OEM service and repair firms.

WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT?

The Valve Basics tabletop exhibit provides a cost-effective way to display and promote your company's products and services and provides a unique networking opportunity for industry exhibit personnel.

Exhibitors include: valve, actuator and control manufacturers; distributors of member company products; valve maintenance and repair firms; other companies that sell or provide products or services to manufacturers as well as end-users and EPC firms. All exhibitors must have manufacturing or repair facilities in the U.S. or Canada.

 

A NOTE FOR NON-MEMBER EXHIBITORS

Exhibitors who are currently not VMA members, but meet the criteria for membership, may exhibit at up to two VMA tabletop exhibit events. After two events, non-member companies will not be permitted to exhibit unless they apply for, and are accepted, as a VMA member.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR EXHIBITING: All Valve Manufacturers Association and Valve Repair Council members are eligible to exhibit, as well as:

  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture valves, actuators and controls
  • U.S. and Canadian-based companies that manufacture products or provide services for these manufacturers
  • OEM-certified valve repair and maintenance facilities located in the U.S. or Canada
  • Distributors/channel partners provided they only display products that are manufactured in the U.S. or Canada

 

EXHIBIT REGISTRATION - EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EFFECTIVE THRU JULY 31ST

The exhibit registration fees are $490 for VMA/VRC members, effective thru July 31, and $550 beginning August 1st. Non-Member fees are $590 effective thru July 31 and $650 beginning August 1st.   You must log-in to your membership account using your username and password to see the member registration rate. WHAT DOES MY EXHIBIT FEE INCLUDE?

Exhibit registration includes one 6-foot draped table, attendee list and two complimentary exhibit personnel.

 

ADDITIONAL EXHIBIT PERSONNEL

Additional exhibit personnel (above two) can be registered for $95. Substitutions are allowed if needed. 

 

ELECTRICITY
Electricity costs for exhibitors who need power are included in your registration fee.


SEMINAR ATTENDANCE TICKETS

Exhibitor registration does not include admittance into the Valve Basics Seminar. If any exhibitor personnel wish to attend the seminar, please purchase a “SEMINAR ATTENDANCE” ticket at time of registration. Seminar tickets are $875 for members and non members effective thru July 31st and $975 beginning August 1st.

Because of the location of the Basics seminar at the Houston Area Safety Council, VMA has not reserved a block of rooms at one hotel, rather we ask that attendees make their own reservations at one of the close by hotels listed below:

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations received up to 30 days before the event are refundable, minus a 5% registration service charge.
  • Cancellations received between 15 and 29 days before the event are 75% refundable.
  • Due to hotel and other event guarantees, cancellations received between 0 and 14 days prior to the event the day are non-refundable.
  • All cancellations must be in writing and sent via email to Malena Malone-Blevins. Substitutions can be accepted until September 29th.
